Berkshire Money Management Welcomes Michael O’Brien as Financial Paraplanner

Berkshire Money Management has recently expanded its team by welcoming Michael O’Brien as a financial paraplanner. O’Brien, previously employed in the insurance sector, brings a wealth of experience in client service and financial planning to his new role. His expertise lies in assisting high-net-worth individuals in safeguarding their assets and securing their financial futures.

In his new position, O’Brien will be based at Berkshire Money Management’s offices in Dalton and Great Barrington. Currently pursuing the Series 65 exam to progress into a junior advising capacity, he is set to work closely with the director of financial planning. His primary focus will be on acquiring the skills needed to provide tailored services to the firm’s clientele.

A native of Pittsfield, O’Brien boasts a diverse background, having been crowned Mr. Taconic and completed the Berkshire Leadership Program in 2024. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in Spanish from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Additionally, O’Brien is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent, further enhancing his qualifications in the financial services realm.
