Highly professional and successful financial planning firm with a huge growth focus currently has an impressive opportunity for a Senior Paraplanner/Advice Manager to join the Brisbane based team on a permanent basis.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who possess 8+ years’ experience in a paraplanning or advice related role, who is seeking to continue and develop a career and manage an Advice Team within a Financial Planning business. This role may suit a Senior Paraplanner who is looking for their next challenge to lead, develop and support a new advice team, and wanting to work with a business passionate about supporting their individual growth and development in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, model and deliver industry-leading advice strategies for advisers
- Overse the management of Paraplanning workflow into the advice team
- Manage business compliance obligations regarding delivery of advice ensuring policy changes are implemented within the advice team
- Ensure changes to policy and products are managed appropriately
- Monitoring all compliance requirements related to the delivery of financial advice
- Conducting monthly file checks in line with internal compliance framework, reporting outcomes, identifying training gaps, and providing coaching support
- Managing and providing monthly reporting on costs and activity
- Systems training and support on advice related software, tools and resources
Skills required:
- Proven Paraplanning experience
- Team leadership experience an advantage
- Understanding of financial planning and advice documentation
- Financial Planning Qualifications (eg, RG146, DFP, ADFS or CFP)
You will need to possess a minimum of 8 years experience within a paraplanning role and will ideally have experience using COIN, or a similar financial planning software. An exposure to working with external paraplanning teams desirable, but is not essential.
