Dallas-based Prospera Financial Services recently introduced a new financial planning service called “Planning Your Way,” offering four distinct service models. These models provide various levels of support from Prospera’s paraplanner team, aiming to meet the diverse needs of their affiliated advisors and clients.
The program includes a data-gathering session led by a paraplanner, plan creation, presentations, and a comprehensive relationship between advisors and paraplanners to better assist clients. Tarah Williams, President and COO of Prospera, emphasized the significance of this program in alleviating the resource burden on advisors while enhancing the quality of personalized financial plans for clients.
Williams highlighted the evolution of financial planning software, which has enabled advisors to develop more robust plans. However, this process can be time-consuming, prompting Prospera to provide a solution that optimizes the planning process for advisors, allowing them to focus on delivering tailored financial solutions to their clients.
Moreover, the program offers a free financial planning software consultation for advisors, helping them choose the most suitable software platform for their business needs. This initiative underscores Prospera’s commitment to supporting their advisors in delivering high-quality financial planning services efficiently.
In addition to this service launch, Prospera had previously introduced Prospera Generational Wealth, a family office solution tailored to advisors serving the ultra-high net worth segment. The firm’s strategic expansion continued with the acquisition of Cutter and Company, an independent broker-dealer based in St. Louis, managing assets worth $2 billion.
Michael Madden, a Contributing Editor and Research Analyst at Wealth Solutions Report, commended Prospera’s initiative, highlighting the program’s potential to enhance the advisor-client relationship and streamline the financial planning process. Madden emphasized the importance of leveraging technology and specialized support to meet the evolving needs of clients in the financial services industry.
Prospera’s innovative approach reflects a broader trend in the industry, where firms are increasingly integrating technology and specialized services to deliver tailored financial solutions effectively. By offering a range of service models and software consultations, Prospera aims to empower its advisors to navigate the complexities of financial planning with greater efficiency and precision.
As financial planning continues to evolve, the collaboration between advisors and paraplanners supported by advanced technology is becoming a key differentiator in providing comprehensive and personalized financial advice. Prospera’s launch of the “Planning Your Way” program underscores the firm’s commitment to driving innovation and enhancing the client experience through strategic service offerings.
