Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KFin Technologies Limited, a Hyderabad-based company, aimed at enhancing talent development, fostering industry-academia collaboration, and facilitating local hiring. The signing ceremony, held on a Friday, underscored the commitment of KFin Technologies Limited, a firm specializing in Financial Services, IT, and ITeS-related services, to skill development, knowledge sharing, and creating employment opportunities for students.
This strategic alliance, set to span over 60 months, will pave the way for conducting workshops and skill-building programs for students, exploring internship and pre-placement prospects, and recruiting local talent to bolster the company’s workforce. Additionally, the partnership will facilitate faculty development initiatives and industry-research projects. Both entities will work together on co-branded academic endeavors, further solidifying the bond between academia and industry for future research and development endeavors.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, Vice-Chancellor of SOA, and Mr. Sujay Puthran, Chief People Officer of KFin Technologies Limited. The signing ceremony was attended by key figures from both organizations, including Prof. Prasanta Kumar Patra, Dean of Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) at SOA, Mr. Ripti Ranjan Dash, Director of Industry Engagement and Corporate Relations, Mr. Abhisek Patnaik, Senior Manager of Corporate Relations, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Razaque, Faculty In-charge of Training and Placement at SOA. Representing KFin Technologies Limited were Mr. Venkata Giri Vonkayala, Chief Technical Officer, and Mr. Subarna Mishra, Vice-President and Head of Data and Analytics-IT.
